Information the register office needs

The registrar will interview you in private and will ask for the following information about the person who has died:

u

Their date and place of death

u

Their full name and surname (and maiden surname, if relevant)

u

Their date and place of birth

u

Their occupation

u

Their usual address

If the person who has died was married, the name, occupation and date of birth of the surviving spouse

u

Whether the person who died was receiving a pension or other public funds.
