We work closely and support many local charities. We launched an Easter egg appeal to collect eggs for the Children’s wards at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, the Princess Royal Hospital in Orpington, various local nursing homes and care homes. We collected over 200 eggs and our staff personally visited to hand them out.
Dean has over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of funerals and funeral practices. He regularly makes visits to nursing/residential care homes, doctors surgeries, hospices and community groups to give free informative and educational talks on the role of the funeral director in the community. This involves a 30-minute presentation followed by a question and answer session and can incorporate a visit to and tour of our premises.
Attendance at such presentations can be highly valuable in enhancing NVQ courses, and certificates will be provided for those present.
Response to the presentation is always positive, with many attendees stating that they have found it interesting, helpful and enlightening. Should you feel that your organisation or group would benefit from Dean visiting to give a talk please contact our office to arrange a mutually convenient time.
